POST2PRISON

Post2prison was developed for inmates by former inmates and their families. We consult daily with men and women who have been found guilty or not guilty for crimes they have or have not committed, but nonetheless have done time, and/or are still doing time behind walls and bars. What they all have in common is that the process of rehabilitation has a higher success with the support of family, friends and loved ones. Communication is key and plays an immense role in bridging and maintaining relationships while incarcerated. We here at Post2prison feel that if there is a way to make it more easier and convenient to establish connections with inmates and their loved ones, we want to make it possible. We're always looking for a path that leads inmates to a home that is built with stronger bonds and concrete foundations. An inmates only connection to the outside, is phone calls and mail correspondence. Understandably, many people on the outside are very busy and live time consuming lives. And as simple as mailing a letter can be, it's just difficult at times to get all the components together in a timely fashion to mail an actual letter. So that's why we came up with Post2prison. To save time, decrease the effort and tasks, and eliminate the travel and process it takes to:

Find a pen and paper

Get an envelope

Drive somewhere to develop photos

Go somewhere else to purchase stamps

Remember to drop it off at the post office or mailbox

We have heard about many reasons and excuses why people were delayed or put off mailing
their letters. We’ll just provide a few:

The weather is really bad.

A headache, sore back, hip, aching feet

Too late to mail it on friday. Well, gotta wait till Monday.

The photo machine at the store isn't working.

Just tied up with the kids, work, house chores.

Trust us, the list goes on. We created Post2prison to give the user a more comfortable and
convenient way to keep an easy line of communication to their loved one literally by the touch
of their fingertips. Why do something that can take days, when it can all be done in just
minutes? It could be done on:

  • A lunch break
  • While out shopping
  • In your bed
  • On the toilet

Anywhere you can fit five minutes of your time in an idle position. Post2prison is more than
elated to fill in this small, but sometimes frustrating inconvenience for any inmate and their
loved ones and we hope this, in return will create positive attitudes in a place where recieving a
letter means everything.
